PROGRAM STUDI DI AMB MEDAN TERAKREDITASI
suatu keharusan bagi setiap perguruan tinggi baik itu negeri maupun swasta untuk mengakreditasikan program studinya melalui Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi(BAN PT) secara berkala.
Ke tiga Program studi di Akademi Maritim Belawan (AMB) Medan telah mendapat akreditasi setelah AMB Medan mengajukan perpanjangan akrediatasi untuk 3 (tiga) Program studi, pada tanggal 21 Maret 2017 AMB Medan menerima salinan surat ketetapan dari Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi nomor: 0780/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/Dipl-III/III/2017 Terakreditasi ‘B”
Dan hal yang sama juga untuk Program Studi Teknika bahwa pada tanggal 29 Maret 2017 AMB Medan menerima salinan surat ketetapan dari Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi nomor: 0865/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/Dipl-III/III/2017 Terakreditasi ‘B”
Untuk Program Studi Nautika sesuai salinan surat ketetapan dari Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi nomor: 0866/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/Dipl-III/III/2017 Terakreditasi “C”.
Dengan perolehan nilai akreditasi baik untuk Prodi Ketatalaksanaan Pelayaran Niaga dan Kerpelabuhan, Prodi Teknika diharapkan dapat terus memacu AMB Medan untuk terus tetap meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan pelayanan bagi Taruna/i serta dapat mempertahankan penilaian ini dan bahkan dapat meningkat dan untuk Prodi Nautika , manajemen AMB Medan berkomitmen kuat bahwa 1 (satu) tahun sejak 29 Maret 2017 sesuai ketentuan akan mengajukan Reakreditasi untuk peningkatan status akreditasi tersebut, hal ini dikuatkan dengan rencana perubahan kearah perbaikan di Prodi Nautika;
